Chapter 32-5
Welcome Home!
We're glad you're here!
"Welcome Home" is a powerful symbol of acknowledgment, gratitude, and healing for veterans, recognizing our sacrifice and service to our country.
The phrase has special meaning to our brothers and sisters who served in Vietnam. They were ignored and sometimes despised by a public who had grown tired of the war. Those fortunate enough to survive came home alone to only their families and close friends.
Today, the words "Welcome Home" continue to resonate among veterans of all conflicts. We say it to each other to ensure that no warfighter ever returns forgotten. You are always welcome at CVMA® AZ 32-5.
Vets Helping Vets
It's who we are, and it's what we do...
"Vets Helping Vets" embodies the spirit of camaraderie and solidarity among military veterans, where those who have served in the Armed Forces extend a hand to support and uplift their fellow comrades.
This ethos manifests in various forms, from informal peer support groups to structured programs and organizations dedicated to providing assistance across a spectrum of needs. Whether it's aiding in the transition to civilian life, navigating bureaucratic hurdles, accessing healthcare services, or addressing mental health challenges like PTSD, veterans stand ready to offer guidance, understanding, and practical help.
"Vets Helping Vets" fosters a sense of community, where the unique experiences and shared bonds of military service create a foundation for mutual support and empowerment. Through these initiatives, veterans honor their oath to never leave a fallen comrade and continue to serve their country by lifting each other up in times of need.
